AST 18-201-05 is a cordless telescopic pole saw from Güde's 18 V E³ battery system, designed for pruning trees and branches at height. The telescopic shaft can be adjusted from 1.82 to 2.49 metres, allowing many pruning jobs to be carried out safely from the ground.
The pole saw is equipped with an Oregon guide bar and Oregon saw chain and provides a cutting length of 170 mm. Maximum chain speed is 8 m/s. The tool-free quick chain tensioning system makes chain adjustment quick and convenient.
An integrated oil tank provides automatic chain lubrication, while the bumper spike provides secure contact with the branch during cutting. The soft grip and included shoulder strap provide improved control and comfort during longer periods of use.
This version is supplied complete with an 18 V / 2.0 Ah Li-Ion battery and 0.5 A charger, making it ready for use. The battery is part of Güde's 18 V E³ Easy-Energy-Exchange system.
