The Güde battery charger GAB 12V-15A-BOOST is an intelligent battery charger that is microprocessor-controlled for all common battery types of vehicles. Operation of the charger is straightforward and automatically adjusts to the battery voltage of 12V vehicles. The essential feature of the battery charger is its gentle charging, so that the longest possible battery life is achieved at full power. It also has a number of technical protection and maintenance features, such as automatic charging and short-circuit protection. The trickle charge feature allows gentle charging on seasonally powered batteries to protect them from over-discharge for extended periods of time. Due to the fully insulated battery terminals, the battery charger can be easily and safely connected. The LED display shows at a glance which state of charge the battery is in and in which mode is being charged. The Güde Battarielader has a BOOST function to charge the battery for a short time (300s) with 15A.
