The Güde GAB 12V/6V-1A is a compact, microprocessor-controlled automatic battery charger for smaller 6 V and 12 V lead-acid batteries with capacities from 4 to 30 Ah.
The intelligent charging technology uses a fully automatic 6-stage charging process that controls the charging cycle according to the condition of the battery. With a charging current of 1 A, this model is particularly suitable for gentle charging and maintenance of smaller batteries.
The charger supports PB, GEL, AGM and WET batteries and can be used for batteries in motorcycles, scooters, garden machinery and other vehicles and equipment fitted with smaller 6 V or 12 V batteries.
The battery can be charged directly while installed in the vehicle. Continuous maintenance charging also makes the charger suitable for batteries in vehicles and machinery that remain unused for extended periods.
The GAB 12V/6V-1A features reverse polarity and short-circuit protection as well as a recovery function for heavily or deeply discharged batteries.

Practical Information
With a charging current of 1 A, the GAB 12V/6V-1A is primarily designed for smaller batteries. It is particularly suitable for motorcycles, scooters, garden machinery and other equipment with battery capacities from 4 to 30 Ah.
During longer periods of inactivity, the charger can be used for continuous maintenance charging. This helps keep the battery charged and ready for use, for example during winter storage.
The recovery function is designed to attempt charging of heavily or deeply discharged batteries. However, a damaged or defective battery cannot necessarily be restored by charging.
