Description
The Güde GWS 700 HM-2 is a powerful rocking log saw designed for safe and efficient cutting of firewood. Its robust construction and large 700 mm carbide-tipped saw blade make the machine suitable for regular and demanding use.
The powerful 5.2 kW 400 V motor drives the saw blade at 1,420 rpm and provides a maximum cutting capacity of 250 mm. The rocking cradle allows the wood to be fed towards the saw blade in a controlled manner and automatically returns to its starting position after each cut.
The GWS 700 HM-2 is designed with a strong focus on safe operation. The cutting area is protected by safety guards, and the rocking mechanism is equipped with a safety interlock. The electronic motor brake quickly stops the motor and saw blade after the machine is switched off.
The switch and plug combination features an integrated phase inverter, allowing the direction of motor rotation to be easily corrected when connected to a 400 V power supply.

Practical Information
The rocking saw is designed for cutting logs and firewood into suitable lengths for wood-burning stoves, fireplaces and heating systems.
The rocking cradle provides controlled feeding of the wood towards the saw blade. After each cut, the cradle automatically returns to its starting position, allowing the machine to be quickly prepared for the next cut.
The integrated phase inverter makes it easy to correct the motor's direction of rotation if the phase sequence of the 400 V electrical supply causes the motor to rotate in the wrong direction.
