The Güde GIS 162 inverter welder is designed for occasional, short and simple welding jobs in the DIY and hobby sector. It is also ideal for light welding work on assembly sites and stationary use. IGBT-supported inverter technology for extremely fast switching processes and precise welding current regulation, which simplifies the welding of thinner sheets and significantly reduces the formation of welding beads. The compact design and low weight as well as a practical carrying strap offer maximum flexibility and mobility. The GIS 162 can be used to weld all standard electrodes up to a diameter of 4.0 mm at a power of up to 160 A. Top features such as ARC FORCE for stabilising the arc, HOT START for easy ignition of the electrodes by increasing the voltage and high frequency and, last but not least, ANTI STICK, which prevents annoying sticking and annealing of the electrode, ensure top results even for inexperienced welders. If required, the GIS 162 can also be optionally converted for TIG welding work with our matching TIG welding station equipment # 41690. Brush hammer and welding shield are included with the GIS 162.
