Description
The KEDU KJD6 is a robust ON/OFF safety switch with a built-in no-voltage release for 230 V machines. It prevents automatic restart after a power failure and is used on a wide range of Güde, Rotwerk and other workshop machines.
The KJD6 differs from many other KJD switches by its enclosed and protected housing, which helps protect the switching mechanism from dust and water splashes. For this reason, it is often used on machines operating in demanding environments with wood dust, metal chips, moisture, or outdoor use.
Its robust construction is one of the reasons why the KJD6 is often more expensive than models such as the KJD20-2, while providing better protection for the switch mechanism and a longer service life under demanding working conditions.
The KJD6 is one of the early models in the KJD switch family and was later developed into the KJD19 and KJD20-2.
