Description

The Güde GRP 50 is a compact and easy-to-handle plate compactor designed for compacting smaller areas. It is suitable for patios, pathways, small driveways and repair work in landscaping and construction applications.

With a net weight of 54 kg and its compact design, the GRP 50 is considerably easier to handle and transport than the larger models in the GRP range. The automatic forward travel assists the operator by allowing the machine to move forwards during compaction.

The machine is powered by a 4-stroke petrol engine delivering 1.5 kW / 2.0 hp. The vibration system provides up to 5,210 vibrations per minute and a maximum compaction force of 8.5 kN.

The base plate measures 430 × 300 mm, making the machine particularly suitable for smaller areas and locations where a larger plate compactor would be difficult to use. Güde specifies a compaction depth of up to 20 cm, depending on the material and working conditions.

The GRP 50 features low-oil protection and a vibration-dampened, folding handle. A transport system is included, together with a polyurethane mat for working on sensitive paved surfaces.

Practical Information

The GRP 50 is designed for smaller compaction jobs where low weight, compact dimensions and easy manoeuvrability are more important than the high compaction force provided by larger machines.

The automatic forward travel means that the machine moves forwards during operation. Unlike the larger GRP 125, GRP 160 and GRP 260 models, the GRP 50 does not feature reversible forward and reverse travel.

The supplied polyurethane mat can be used when compacting sensitive paved surfaces. It helps protect paving stones from direct contact with the steel base plate and reduces the risk of surface damage.

The vibration-dampened handle helps reduce the transmission of vibrations to the operator and can be folded down for easier transport and more compact storage.
