Description

The Güde GRP 60 is a compact and powerful plate compactor designed for compacting small to medium-sized areas. It is suitable for patios, pathways, driveways, landscaping and general repair work.

With a maximum compaction force of 12 kN and a 510 × 370 mm base plate, the GRP 60 combines compact dimensions with strong compaction performance. The automatic forward travel assists the operator by allowing the machine to move forwards during compaction.

The machine is powered by a 4-stroke petrol engine delivering 4.1 kW / 5.5 hp. The vibration system provides up to 4,950 vibrations per minute, while Güde specifies a compaction depth of up to 28 cm depending on the material and working conditions.

The robust steel frame protects the machine and makes handling easier during transport. The vibration-dampened handle helps reduce the transmission of vibrations to the operator and can be folded down for easier transport and storage.

The GRP 60 also features low-oil protection, robust transport wheels and is supplied with a polyurethane mat for use on sensitive paved surfaces.

Practical Information

The GRP 60 is a forward-moving plate compactor with automatic forward travel. It should therefore not be confused with the larger reversible GRP models, which can travel both forwards and backwards.

With 12 kN of compaction force, a 510 × 370 mm base plate and a net weight of 70 kg, the GRP 60 sits above the smaller GRP 50 and is suitable for applications requiring greater compaction performance without moving up to the heavier reversible models.

The supplied polyurethane mat can be used when compacting sensitive paved surfaces. It helps protect paving stones from direct contact with the steel base plate and reduces the risk of surface damage.

The vibration-dampened handle can be folded down, while the robust transport wheels make the machine easier to move and store.
