Quick-change tool holder - set with 1 x base body and 4 holders for turning tools up to 20 mm With a quick-change tool holder, various tools, e.g. turning tools or drill rods, can be clamped for a quick change. The turning tool is clamped in the tool holder and adjusted to the correct height (centered on the spindle). The set height is secured with a lock nut. This means that the next time the tool holder is inserted, the turning tool is immediately centered again. The annoying and time-consuming task of positioning the lathe under the tool to achieve the correct height is no longer necessary.

Then a steel holder quick-change system is just the thing for you!
Time saving Different tools are usually needed to process different workpieces. The tool must be set to the correct position for each. Thanks to the “Multifix” quick-change system, such tedious adjustment work is no longer necessary. The system helps you to always have all the necessary turning tools ready for use. You set the desired height for your lathe once and may need to adjust it later.
Number of tool holders required It is best to buy a separate tool holder for each frequently used chisel. You will quickly forget the expense due to the time saved and in view of our very reasonable prices.
Our size recommendation With us you get the quick-change system in all common sizes (Aa, Ab, A, E, B and C). To find the right system size for your machine, the top slide width (L) and the dimension “s” (= height from the top edge of the top slide to the center of the spindle) are the most important pieces of information. We recommend size A for a top slide width of 75 to 95 mm. Compare your measurement with the specifications of our quick-change systems. As a rule, adjusting the top slide width is sufficient. In addition, we have the right assembly kits for Paulimot lathes in our range. Please contact us if you are unsure about the size you need due to the specifications of your lathe.
Determining your system size If you already own a Multifix system, you can quickly see which size it is. The designation of the quick-change holder consists of a combination of letters and numbers. The first letter in the tool holder stands for the system size (here: size A), the second for the holder type (e.g. “D” = flat holder for turning tools). The first number (e.g. 20) indicates the maximum turning tool height in mm. The length of the holder can be read from the second number (e.g. 90).
