Description
The Güde GRP 160 is a powerful reversible plate compactor designed for demanding compaction work in construction, paving and landscaping applications. With a compaction force of 30 kN and a 700 × 500 mm base plate, the machine is suitable for larger and more demanding compaction projects.
The reversible drive allows the machine to travel both forwards and backwards. This makes the GRP 160 easier to manoeuvre in confined working areas and provides good control when compacting alongside foundations, edges and other structures.
The machine is powered by a Loncin G270F 4-stroke petrol engine with a displacement of 270 cm³ and an output of 6.0 kW / 8 hp. The vibration system delivers up to 4,500 vibrations per minute and a maximum compaction force of 30 kN.
The robust base plate measures 700 × 500 mm and is designed for high stability and long service life. The specified compaction depth is up to 60 cm, depending on the material and working conditions.
The GRP 160 features low-oil protection and a vibration-dampened, folding handle. The supplied transport system with robust wheels makes it easier to move the 182 kg machine between work areas.

Practical Information
The reversible drive is particularly useful on a plate compactor in this weight class. The machine can travel forwards and backwards without having to be manually turned around, making it considerably easier to work in confined areas.
The supplied polyurethane mat can be used when compacting sensitive paved surfaces. It helps protect paving stones from direct contact with the steel base plate and reduces the risk of surface damage.
The vibration-dampened handle helps reduce the transmission of vibrations to the operator and can be folded down for easier transport and more compact storage.
The machine uses standard unleaded petrol. The engine has a 6-litre fuel tank and an oil capacity of 0.95 litres. The specified engine oil grade is 10W-40, while the eccentric vibration system uses 15W-40 oil.
