Discontinued – Replaced by KEDI AKS7-30F

KEDU HY57-20 (94698-05035) has been discontinued and is no longer sold by Güde.

The original mechanically maintained ON/OFF switch has been replaced by an electromagnetic switch with No-Volt Release (NVR) protection.

The original switch design may allow the machine to restart automatically when power is restored after a power failure.

The replacement KEDI AKS7-30F prevents automatic restarting. After a power interruption, the machine must be restarted manually.

Description

KEDU HY57-20 is a discontinued mechanically maintained start/stop switch previously used in machinery with 250/400 V AC electrical systems, including the Güde SPALTY W 370/4T log splitter.

This switch was fitted to version 3 and version 5, manufactured by Shandong, China.

Practical Information

Always verify the machine version, as different versions of the same machine may use different switch types.

When replacing the original switch with KEDI AKS7-30F, check mounting dimensions, terminal connections and electrical ratings. Installation must be carried out by a suitably qualified person.
