Description
The KEDU KJD20-2 is an ON/OFF safety switch with a built-in no-voltage release for 220–240 V machines. It prevents automatic restart after a power failure and is used on a range of Güde and Rotwerk machines.
The KJD20-2 is the latest development in the KJD switch family and, in many cases, replaces the earlier CK-1, KJD6, and KJD19 switches, provided that the dimensions, terminal layout and electrical specifications are identical.
Practical Information
The KEDU KJD20-2 is used on several different machine types. Always verify the switch dimensions, terminal layout and electrical specifications before replacement.
Although the KJD20-2 can often replace older KJD switches, compatibility should always be verified before installation.

Important
The KEDU KJD20-2 is the latest version of the KJD switch family and can often replace earlier KJD switches.
The same switch may be supplied under different original spare part numbers depending on the manufacturer and machine model.
Always compare the product images, dimensions, terminal layout and electrical specifications before replacement.
Always wire the switch according to the terminal numbering or the wiring diagram—never rely solely on wire colours.
