Description
The Güde GSK 140/420 is a robust manual stone splitter designed for precise splitting of paving stones, slabs and kerbstones. It is suitable for both professional paving work and demanding DIY projects where stones need to be sized quickly without using electric cutting equipment.
The stone splitter can handle workpieces up to 420 mm wide and from 25 to 140 mm thick. The splitting height is easily adjusted using the central threaded spindle, allowing the machine to be quickly adapted to different stone thicknesses.
The long telescopic handle provides excellent leverage and reduces the physical effort required for splitting. Spring-loaded supports help position and support the workpiece during operation.
The GSK 140/420 is equipped with a replaceable splitting blade with three cutting edges, providing long service life and efficient use of the blade. The integrated wheels make it easier to move the 38 kg stone splitter around the work area.

Practical Information
The GSK 140/420 splits the stone using mechanical pressure rather than cutting it with a rotating disc. This allows work to be carried out without electricity and without the dust normally generated when dry-cutting with a diamond cutting disc.
The splitting height is adjusted centrally using the threaded spindle according to the thickness of the stone. The machine is suitable for workpieces from 25 to 140 mm thick and up to 420 mm wide.
The telescopic handle provides excellent leverage, allowing high splitting force to be generated with relatively little physical effort.
The replaceable splitting blade has three cutting edges. This allows the blade to be repositioned to make use of the additional cutting edges before replacement is required.
