Description
The Güde GAB 12V/6V-4A is a compact, microprocessor-controlled automatic battery charger for 6 V and 12 V batteries with capacities from 4 to 120 Ah.
The intelligent charging technology uses a fully automatic 10-stage charging process that controls the charging cycle according to the battery type and condition. Inverter technology ensures efficient and controlled charging and allows the battery to be charged directly while installed in the vehicle.
The charger supports PB, GEL, AGM, WET and LiFePO4 batteries, making it suitable for both traditional lead-acid batteries and modern lithium iron phosphate batteries.
The practical LCD display provides a quick overview of the charging process and battery status. During longer periods of inactivity, the automatic maintenance charging function can keep the battery charged and ready for use.
The GAB 12V/6V-4A also features a recovery function for heavily or deeply discharged batteries as well as overcharge, reverse polarity and short-circuit protection.

Practical Information
With a charging current of up to 4 A and support for battery capacities from 4 to 120 Ah, the GAB 12V/6V-4A sits between the smaller 1 A maintenance charger and the more powerful 10 A models. It is suitable for cars, motorcycles, scooters, garden machinery and other vehicles and equipment using 6 V or 12 V batteries.
During longer periods of inactivity, the charger can be used for continuous maintenance charging. This is particularly useful for seasonal vehicles and machinery where the battery might otherwise discharge during extended periods without use.
The recovery function is designed to attempt charging of heavily or deeply discharged batteries. However, a damaged or defective battery cannot necessarily be restored by charging.
