The GHS 500/8TE is a heavy-duty electric log splitter designed for efficient firewood preparation for fireplaces, wood-burning stoves and home heating. Delivering an impressive 8 tonnes of splitting force with a powerful 230 V motor and a maximum log length of 530 mm, it easily handles larger and tougher logs.

The powerful electric motor works together with a high-performance hydraulic pump generating up to 280 bar of hydraulic pressure. The efficient Y-shaped hardened steel splitting wedge increases splitting efficiency, while the continuously adjustable splitting stroke reduces cycle time when processing shorter logs. Folding log support tables, two-hand safety controls and large transport wheels provide safe, convenient everyday operation.
