The Güde GDM 600 is a compact and versatile wood lathe with variable speed control, ideal for hobby workshops and creative woodturning projects. The powerful 550 W geared motor combined with soft start provides controlled start-up and makes it easy to adapt the speed to the workpiece and application.
The machine offers a maximum working length of 600 mm and can handle workpieces with a diameter of up to 250 mm. The spindle head features an M18 × 1.5 mm thread, while both the tool rest and tailstock can be adjusted quickly during use.
The aluminium and steel construction provides a good combination of stability and low weight. This makes the GDM 600 easier to move than larger wood lathes while still providing a stable working platform.
The machine is supplied ready for use with a tool rest, tailstock, workpiece holder, two spanners and a small set of turning chisels.
